    About

Realism, with a door left open to somewhere stranger.

Federica Bocca is an emerging visual artist finishing her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Tampa. She grew up in Italy and moved to the United States seven years ago.

Her work centres on digital illustration and reaches across intaglio, relief and screen printing, oil painting and large murals. In her series Between Oil and Thread she paints her friends in oil, then stitches, beads and embroiders into the canvas, putting painting and needlework side by side.
